MycoTonics Vital 5 is an equal blend of our favourite functional mushrooms, lions mane, turkey tail, cordyceps, chaga and reishi. The mushrooms are extracted using a two stage process resulting in great concentration of polysaccharides, beta-glucans and triterpenes. Having this blend of 5 mushrooms in one bottle makes this an extremely convenient daily supplement.

How is it made?
The dried fruiting body of the mushrooms go through a hot water extraction process to extract the polysaccharides and then an organic ethanol extraction to release the triterpenes and acids which are not water soluble. The final extraction ratio is 1:3 high strength concentration (equivalent of 170g mushrooms used in each 50ml bottle!) and the final ABV is a shelf-stable 25%.

Please note – due to the nature of these products it’s possible for the contents to crystallise around the cap/dropper. If you have any issues with the dropper, the advice from Bristol Fungarium is to submerge the dropper in hot water for a few minutes, take it out and then leave it to dry before continuing to use.
