Carrots also have a large amount of carotenoids (pigments in plants that create the red, yellow and orange colour in fruit and vegetables), carotenoids are a type of antioxidant so can help prevent oxidative stress in the body.

One of the most notable carotenoids present in carrots is beta carotene, mostly present in the orange and yellow varieties. Beta carotene is converted to vitamin A in the body. When ingested, beta carotene is associated with maintaining good eye health and circulation amongst other important health benefits. You can also find beta carotene in our organic mango powder which is utterly delicious!

Carrot powder is also commonly used in a large number of cosmetics, due to its high content of vitamin A and vitamin B. It can help to tone skin, improve elasticity, reduce scars and keep skin looking radiant.

This product has been tested for pesticides, artificial fertilisers, heavy metals, e.coli, yeast, mould, salmonella and foreign matter. This product contains no bulking agents, added sugar, palm oil or GMO.

Suggested use:

Our carrot powder can be added liberally to morning juices, smoothies or in soups. You can also use topically for the skin in your favourite skin mask recipe.
