Organic bladderwrack seaweed is perhaps one of the most popular seaweeds found on the coast of the UK. It is easily recognisable from the small sacks at the end of the branches that are so enjoyable to burst!

It’s possible to find small white bits of Coral on the seaweed, it is not harmful and can be washed off when cleaning the seaweed.

Bladderwrack is known to have one of the highest levels of iodine amongst all seaweed varieties. Bladderwrack can provide up to 30 times the standard daily intake of iodine. It is known for its thyroid support. Bladderwrack is also commonly used in skincare products due to its high levels of vitamin A and E. Bladderwrack has properties which can help soothe skin complaints such as eczema and psoriasis.
