Native to China, Schisandra is also called Wu Wei Zi or “five flavoured berry” because it contains all of the five tastes: salty, sweet, bitter, astringent and sour. Our schisandra powder is lovely quality, fine textured and super nutritious.
It is one of the most well known and loved tonics in traditional Chinese medicine and is valued alongside ginseng, goji and reishi. Schisandra powder is loved by people who want to lead a relaxing, stress-free lifestyle.
Schisandra berry tea has also been used in Russia for centuries as a tonic and was used by the Nanai people while on hunting excursions.
