These utterly delicious yacon nibs contain no refined sugar because they’re coated in yacon root extract. Yacon is rated at only 15 on the GI scale (that’s the glycemic index) so unlike refined sugars like Glucose (100 GI) and the evil Maltodextrin (110 GI!), it doesn’t give you a huge blood sugar spike and best of all it tastes a little like maple syrup!
